Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Huispedia, you will join us on our mission to unlock the housing market in the Netherlands, to allow people to move on with their lives instead of being stuck.

As a small team, we're all generalists. We're looking for experienced people who can pick up a problem and solve it. We do not expect you to have experience working with everything we work with, but we expect strong engineering fundamentals that allows you to get going quickly.
What you really do.
Take broad and ambiguous problems and turn them into product that makes impact on the national housing market.
Full stack development: you’ll build and maintain applications and services in our stack of Laravel (PHP) and Flutter (Dart). Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS, managed with Kubernetes. For agentic applications we use Claude.
Work in a small team where we are constantly learning and iterating.
Job Requirements.
A minimum of 7 years of experience as a software engineer working full-stack, and proven experience leading solutions end-to-end.
You have strong opinions about product, and have been in a position where you made product decisions.
Technical leadership: you proactively shape the technical direction of the product, raise issues before they become problems, and help set the engineering bar for the team.
Fast paced environment: you have experience working in fast paced environments such as start-ups or scale-ups. And you like it too!
